Its been a curious time for Bulgarias new European Commissioner, Rumiana Jeleva, who abruptly left her post as Foreign Minister to take on the task of being the EUs head of Humanitarian Aid and Crisis, a task that is always unpredictable and hurtles the person in charge into the forefront of some the worst problems in the world. She stopped during the European Peoples Party Congress in Bonn, Germany last month to talk about her new role and the future of the EU and the EPP. Its a demanding role because the EU is traditionally generous with its aid, particularly in times of natural disasters and other catastrophes, and she will be called upon to make choices about where the funds go, and how much, although in her brief time as Bulgarias Foreign Minister she came to know the international scene well.

  • Intelligent gal! better than most freaks who are detractors to her spirit - bug off!

  • Dear Europeans. I'm a BUlgarian too and 17 years old and I personally can say that my english pronunciation is better than hers. I'm really sorry and ashamed that bulgaria is being represented by " I inSSure you" and Ken Lee. What I personally can insure every foreigner is that every young bulgarian( born after(1990) can speak English. ;)

  • If a British person tries to meet those allegations in German it would be the same disaster. You shouldn't judge people's competence by how the speak English. She actually speaks fluent German and has been a Docent at the Marburg University. The corruption that Bulgaria is "famous" with is just part of the brighter southern context like Spain, Italy or Greece. It' also a young democracy.. so give it a break and chill the out.

  • BIG BIG NOOOOO, she smiles all the time like she's telling a joke or two...gosh I can't believe her confidence...."arrogance in the face of ignorance" as some has said....really sad but true

  • Sramota...

  • It is encOOOrage us to encOOOrage people LOL !!! we hEv it ....

Ken leee .....di bu di butaut uuuuu

OMG!!!
