@cowboyupinblue they need to retitle alien 3, alien abortion. most of the hardcore fanbase would disagree, plus stupidity at false advertising it was suppose to be on earth in the teaser/poster.nowhere close to ridley or camerons films.

alien 3 would have been awesome had the aliens made it to earth.

alien 3 was horrid as they dropped the music for it (and thankfully returned in 4) and false advertised as the aliens were comming to earth in the poster/teaser wich pissed off most of the fanbase when it was a prison planet by the time of the regular trailer as the teaser was "on earth everyone can here you scream" a play on the 1st poster.

Alien 3 is an underrated film. Everyone focuses on what COULD have been; what if Hicks was alive? What if they explored Ripley/Newt's relationship deeper than in Aliens? Yada yada, obviously those are pressing questions and it's a shame we'll never know.
However, this film's strongest suit is those very same facts: it is nothing like anyone expected. The setting is totally original, and all the shaved heads were really striking when it first came out and buzz cuts weren't so popular.
