Much as I love Dolly -- and I certainly do! -- it would have been a nice touch if Carlene Carter had been the one to lead off "Let the Circle be Unbroken", since she is a descendant of the Carter Family.

No one butchered the song, it s called taking the higher part mostly. It s vet difficult for both women and men to sing lead in the same key and since they all tool a turn some singers have to jump to a higher register to be able to sing that section. Travis tritt sings like that all the time. Eye brow guy was Hal ketchum and Martina didn't screw up at all.
