Youtube montessori bed

Our daughter in her first few days in a Montessori bed (AKA futon on the floor of her baby proofed nursery). We put this bed together when she learned to roll over two weeks ago at 17 weeks and now she wakes up in the mornings and rolls out of bed, quite literally to play with her toys on the floor.

Thanks. Good point. I do remove the blankets and pillows. She sleeps in a sleep sack or warmer outfit and while we've been getting accustom to the new bed arrangement, I've slept next to her on the floor. For the first few weeks she'd roll out of bed 2-3 times a night and then fall asleep on the floor for awhile. But it has paid off, now 6 months old and she's crawling and exploring her room on her own each morning.

Very cute set up:)> The comforters and pillows are a sids risk however. Do you remove them when she's actually sleeping?
