  • Yeah. There's n episode in 1960's where Elsie Tanner storms into her house and slams the door and the whole wall moves. Haha it's quite funny.

  • 8:00 this is for my observance. When Gail is flicking through the records you will see that Cliff Richard's 40 Golden Greats Double LP is the 2nd one been flicked through. On that compilation Congratulations is included, now would it of been breaking copyright to play Cliff's version or did they just want to avoid his version altogether?

  • Never watch it now. I hate it. I loved it then though.

  • Three years later, Percy Sugden moved in! Loved all the older folk in the show back in the 60s/70s/80s

  • thanks for a really great video

  • @jiggarypokery I agree, Corrie has lost its spark bit, back then, it concentrated on proper older character and certainly one's you could relate to.

  • @MeBenHalpin I just said the same thing on another Coronation Street upload. I am sick of all these bits of teenage kids being thrown in to soaps to try and attract a 'teen' audience, nearly all of them can't act. You will never be able to please everybody and attract everybody as an audience, they should leave HollyOaks for teen viewers and leave Coronation Street for the adults like it used to be. It used to focus more on adults, now its stupid teenagers.

  • @gregapugh124 Haven't changed for hundreds of years! :)

  • Thanks for the upload i love watching old coronation street at its best. Seems a lot of people think the same way i do about corrie the show is well past its sell by date more like hollyoaks now. Classic characters like hilda, bet, and elsie tanner.

  • @Feisty1967 Yeah that happened about 3 weeks after this on episode 30/7/80.

  • @shakercoola did he clean your windows?
