Scott Johnson allegedly opened fire on 9 teens, killing 3 of them and wounding a 4th person. (August 4)[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE] ((SOT: I got a problem. ((officers near the scene))That's one of the 911 calls made just moments after 3 teens were fatally shot and another was injured last Thursday. ((the river))A group of friends were hanging out near this river on the Wisconsin-Michigan border when a man opened fire.((SOT: We were walking thru the woods and this guy in all camouflage and he had a gun and he started shooting at us.)) ((police driving by)) Investigators have said the gunman was about 7 to 10 feet away from the victims and he didn't say word before he pulled out his weapon.((SOT: What kind of gun did he have? It was like a varmint gun...Where are your friends who were shot? I don't know we just ran.))A coroner says at least 2 of the teens died instantly from single gunshot wounds to the head. ((mug shot))After a 16 hour manhunt...Scott Johnson was arrested in connection with the deadly incident on Friday. ((officers))Police say they picked up the 38 year old suspect...who was dressed in camouflage and carrying a weapon...in a wooded area near the crime scene. ((crime scene))The shootings came just one day after a 24 year old woman filed a police report saying Johnson had sexually assaulted her at the same spot where the shots were fired.Investigators say they aren't sure yet if the assault and the shootings are related. ((mug shot))Johnson is expected to appear in court sometime this week. Its unclear if formal charges will be filed before his first hearing.

My sisters frnds were out there that day but left right b 4 those kids that got shot got there and her friends only knew one of the kids his name was Tony (who was one of the ones that got killed) and if they would have ran into him they probley wouldn't be here and my sister was really close to going out there. She has bracelets and shirts that say like R.I.P. Tony and stuff like that
