  • Please do more tutorials!

  • what do you need to know? i have no projetcts with footage that i can put on the web... send me something!

  • I'll send some stuff through in a couple of weeks (moving countries at the moment) but something that I did struggle with was when I use the 'send to shake' function in FCP and key my greenscreen footage and then render my footage and go back to FCP the alpha channell doesn't seem to work, is this a codec setting in the globals?

  • it's not a codec or alpha issue... output to shake function works uniquely... it's a matter of your file out node... whatever you're rendering as your file out node~ that will be in your FCP project. however quicktime doesn't include alpha layers... it's not like an uncompressed tiff sequence.
