Nazis... the only reason why i like them is because of their weaponries, clothes and tanks. It's like everything in the movies. They seem to refer the Nazis as the bad guys and as in all movies, bad guys always have the better gear. ^_^

The high quality of the average German combat soldier was wasted because of the bad strategic decisions by German High Command. The result was a high number of high quality German KIAs, WIAs, MIAs, etc.

In war, the side that makes good strategic decisions and has more men and material will win. The level of training and experience of the soldiers is no substitute for replacements in men and material.

Both Germany and Japan could not afford a long war. The US and USSR both could. So they won.

The greatest single fighting force in Europe was Gen. George S. Patten. If he had not been starved of gas (petrol), Germany would have been rid of the Nazis in 1944 in time for Thanksgiving. Gen. Irwin Rommel suffered a similar fate in North Africa due to Hitler's similar negligence.
