I am an atheist and i am opposed to abortion on the principle that it is not right nor just to impose our will on an individual that does not have the ability to speak for itself. One would say that it's okay because a fetus cannot understand what is happening but that is not the issue the issue is can it feel? Is it right to end the life of a developing human because of some idea that such an act would be beneficial? I say no.

I'm an atheist as well but I have no right in telling someone else what to do with their body. Am I against abortion? Yes. Would I ever convince someone I know to get one? No. But that's my choice I have no right telling someone else what to believe or do with their body and for that reason I'm Pro-choice

I apply my personal views to myself and just hope that others see my logic. Being a libertarian i don't want government making that decision for people.

You say you don't want the government making that decision for people but by making abortion illegal the government IS taking away someones choice. Where as if you keep it legal the government has no say in what someone can or cannot do with their body.

how free stuff works, you stated that christ is the way to salvation and also other things. chris said i AM THE way THE truth and THE life noone comes to the father except by me. john 14:6 he did not say that you can get to the father through communion, by obeying commandments, and just by "believing in christ doesnt mean you will be saved, its much more than that. even some atheists believe in christ, that he existed, but he wasnt God. its by having faith in him that he is your ONLY savior.(co.

Hey, sorry, when I wrote that, I was in a time squeeze, and I wasn't really thinking straight. You're absolutely right, but see, God says this will get you to heaven. He didn't say this was the ONLY thing that will get you to heaven. Jesus is our ONLY savior. But spread out across the Bible, you'll find that getting to heaven, as Jesus says, is as easy as a camel going through the eye of a needle.
