Studies done on wolf packs in the last few years in the United States said that grizzlies were successful at running packs of wolves off their kills and taking it from them exactly %100 of the times observed. Several of the bigger bears seem to have given up ways they had before the introduction of wolves and now just follow the wolves around, waiting for them to make a kill, and then waltzing in and taking it from them. Beats working!

@FrostBjorn 1. wolf packs sometimes do take down adult grizzlies. it doesnt happen very often, but keep in mind that there can be 30 wolves in one pack. 2. i live in alberta, and we have wolves 200+ pounds here.

@ArchieBunker11 I made no claim to wolves killing any male grizzly bear. I would be inclined to believe most bear kills by wolves would be female bears since they are smaller and therefore the combined wolf pack would outweigh a female grizzly. In comparison, almost all hyena kills on lions are on females not males so I will not argue with you on this. You are probably right.

@como651 lol theres hundreds of vids between the two animals. and 100% of them have bears stealing kills, although you are somewhat correct youre very wrong also, packs of wolves have on rare occasion been known to kill young female grizzlies or cubs. there is no documented case of a male grizzly falling to any number or (weight..the way you seemed to look at it) it is in fact hugely opposite. the experts will tell you that. there is 10 times the number of bear "wins" over wolf wins
