Taped in 1985, by a friend, here is one of the shortest of the pre-90's parades at Disneyland. It can get a little boring, although the music is great, and the most entertaining part about this parade is the random choreography from the ribbon dancers. Anyway, enjoy.

  • Hello can you put any christmas or halloween disney specials here please?

  • It depends what you mean by specials. If you are talking about TV specials, I am iffy on posting televised specials for fears of being banned.

  • Didn't these floats transfer to Florida for Mickey's street party?

  • I believe so.

  • When went to Disneyland in 1985, we did NOT get to see this parade which was a shame. We did see the Electrical Parade with the rare Return to Oz and the 30th Anniversary unit. Thanks for posting this parade.

  • Your welcome. Do you have any memories on what the two units you mentioned look like cause I don't have any of those on video, only the unit's soundtrack.

  • I worked at Disneyland 1983-1989 (& another 3 1/2 yrs at WD Travel Co.). (excluding the M.S. Electrical Parade) this parade was my favorite - seeing it twice a day - EVERYDAY!

  • So many memories here.

1980: My dad got his job with MJ as a producer here.

    1984: My first trip here

1993: MJ took me and other kids here

2003: I took my wife here on our honeymoon

Now, for my kids to have memories.

  • Wow. I remember begging my mom to get me a curbside seat to catch this parade when I was like 11. Looking back, it's like yawn-city. Did we really only need a flood of characters and generic floats to amuse us back then? Now, it's practically a broadway production down Main Street. I guess the audience taste has improved!

  • EW! So terrible im glad parades are MUCH better now. Disney is all about ribbons though... to this day.

  • Didn't WDW have this same song in 1984 (minus small changes)

  • WOW - they have come a long way - but its great to see how things have evolved

  • ahha i forgot back then they had so little characters to work with...like there's no belle, ariel, mulan, jasmine or aladdin (since the movies hadn't come out yet!) they didnt' even use sleeping beauty that much because her movie wasn't popular enough! Thanks for uploading this!

  • I'm Talking About Disney TV Specials.

One More Thing If You Have Disney's Halloween Treat The only version i want is with the magic mirror thankyou.
