Grunge was awesome, it just has a bad rep.

some 'grunge' was good, like love battery, mudhoney, green river, the fluid, screaming trees, coffin break, tad, the throwns ups, and nirvana, and chokebore was ok too. other than those, i think 'grunge' sucks total ass. why? because the bands i mentioned were the ones who hated the label 'grunge' and thought it rise to popularity was completely stupid.

I never understood why the corporate imitations of 'grunge' were even called grunge. Personally, I think Pearl Jam sounds nothing like Nirvana.

Meh noise rock? I don't know what that is but it makes it sound like it was just all about making noise - even if it's crappy noise. These songs are far too good and the musicians are far too good for me to ever consider it just noise. To me this is amazing music.

This is a different kind o noise. Music is just noise after all.
