"Dude, will you stop sulking around?! Just buy a new camera already! Or do something with your life, get a girlfriend, do anything that doesn't involve sitting down doing nothing!" my older brother Joe spat out to me.


"Why don't you buy one for me?" I shot back.


"You're 26 years old Nick, I think it's about time you're old enough to do things on your own." Joe said.


"No, thanks. I think I'll take a walk on the beach. See you later." I said as I started to walk out of our house.


"Yeah, whatever. You could use the fresh air." Joe muttered and went back to reading his magazine.


I opened the door to our beach cabin and walked out turning towards the ocean. Beautiful as always, I thought. If only I had my camera to capture the moment. Stop thinking about the camera, Nick. You're going to drive yourself crazy. Maybe it is time I get a girlfriend.


Every summer, my 28 year old brother Joe and I would rent out a beach cabin while my 30 year old brother Kevin traveled all around the world (or as much as he could) with his wife Danielle. They would always be too busy with each other so me and Joe were closer than we were with him. Joe and I normally didn't argue that much but ever since of the camera incident he wouldn't stop bugging me about it. It seemed like he mentioned it, all day, everyday.


I probably could use the fresh air, I decided. But I won't tell Joe he was right. Ha.


Before I knew it I was walking along the shore and tripped into the wet sand. "Bleh." Some of the sand got into my mouth.


I turned around to see what I tripped over and you'll never believe what I saw.
