This particular version of the segment was recorded after the Family Channel starting cutting episodes to make room for commercials, so it may have small parts missing.

I was in an abusive situation. I stayed with the guy way too long, but finally had the courage to leave him after 2 years together...this story could have been mine and I am thankful every day that I'm alive. I've had a knife pulled on me a couple of times, too--I'm extremely grateful that it did not turn into a horrible, tragic situation. To everyone who is watching this: do NOT stay with someone who hurts you!! Leave after the first incident of abuse!

Well I don't see why my SISTER would believe she's going to be completely alone when she's never even once had that experience. My mom and dad have been there fore her every single solitary time she's needed them.

Whatever happened to experience counting for something. I don't see why she would have thought for even 2 seconds that she'd be alone.

Unless he threatened to kill them, or something, and I'd no longer put it past him.

Not after what I've seen.
