This is the second of four videos containing footage filmed in Brentwood PA and the Brentwood schools in 1938. The original film was about 35 minutes long and shot on 8mm film in 1938. The film shows various locations in Brentwood as well as a lot of footage from Elroy and Moore Elementary Schools as well as Brentwood High School (which had just opened in 1932). The 1938 film was used as part of the BHS 50th anniversary celebration, and Part 1 of the YouTube upload include the introductory comments from Superintendent John Dillon and former principal Leo Harold. Mr. Harold narrates the film, which was videotaped from the presentation screen. The quality is pretty poor in places since the original film was videotaped in 1982 and then transferred to DVD more recently. On a personal note, Part 4 includes a shot of my father, Orlando Jardini, when he was in fourth grade. He appears at 7:46 of the video in the "Music Appreciation" segment. He's the young man on the right side of the screen.
