The Velvelettes once had 5 members like The Marvelettes but finished up as a trio, they are still performing too! Carolyn Gill is the lead singer. This is another unreleased track by The Velvelettes, composed by Clarence Paul which was finally published only in the UK in 2001. Play this on the full HI-FI set up to hear it with that perfect sound with bass that they used to have, OK? JOHN
The absolute only way to listen to Motown... in Hi-Fi!!!

@45spindle Yes that's the best way to listen to these, on my modern surround sound amplifier they sound amazing even though a lot of my old 45 rpm singles were in mono, but I have tried to add as many stereo tracks as possible, it's good too that a lot of these very old recordings are now being issued again as they were meant to be heard! Thanks. JOHN

In a book about female Motown singers, one of the Velvelettes said that when the group was founded, when they were still in college, there were originally twelve members. Pardon the corn, but to whittle down the number of personnel was the only way to keep the ship from sinking: I LOVE MOTOWN!

@simon4186 That's a fascinating thing I didn't know Simon, many thanks for commenting as it's quite rare to see comments on my contributions!! have you got "Motown The History" by Sharon Davis, I'd recommend that book to Motown fans, I've been collecting Motown since 1964!! so you'll see that I have always loved Motown :-) JOHN
