@wezzzlyc You got that right! They present themselves as such a wonderful company when all they care about is the money. Don't get me wrong...there's nothing wrong with making money but when you tell people that the money goes to help others...I would love to know exactly who they are helping. It sure as hell aren't any of their employees! Work like a dog and get treated like one. That should be their motto.

Dont Go To Greedwill... They Are Total RIPOFF's ...They don't care about anyone but themselves. When people ask for help they REFUSE TO HELP ANYONE...even if someone needs a coat. I know many people that works for GREEDWILL and they tell me the same thing. They Don't care about any of their employees and only care about MAKING MONEY. They also lie about all the great things they do for people. MY ADVISE IS ...STAY AWAY FROM GREEDWILL AND DONATE YOUR ITEMS TO PEOPLE THAT REALLY NEED IT.

they pay minimum wages to the goodwill employees that work their ass off at goodwill still their jobs are not safe, and much more and more money goes in the pockets of big boss of goodwill all the time and maybe he would spend some money on disable people like i said its just a maybe.

I work at a goodwill store in Florida, never ever donate to goodwill, if i ever want to donate some of my stuff i will gladly donate it to my city church foundation and they sell the stuff and help the people inside the city and they pay bills of people ,

and i u donate ur stuff to some goodwill store they will sell ur stuff and alll the money will go to goodwill headquarter like they says that they are helping disable people thats not true.

@GINYAGURL757 You must work at the only Goodwill that really does something for people. I told people (when I worked for them and thought they cared about the public) to seek help from them only to find out later that they were turned away! They really are Greedwill!

For those who are not aware: PAL time is used for vacation, sick time, emergencies, etc. I had almost 100 hours of PAL time which means that this company cheated me out of over $700.00! Yes, they most certainly changed my life by showing what a greedy company that they are. Check out their offices. Does it look like the corporate people make minimum wage? I don't think so!

I used to work for Goodwill also and let me tell you something...they are most definately NOT what they appear to be. They pay their employees minimum wage and work the hell out of them. When you get tired of all the work and stress that they put on you and make a mistake by leaving, because of being ill and so stressed out, they terminate your employment while keeping all the PAL hours that you have! By the way, they compact so much merchandise it's not funny. Don't donate to this company!
