This movie shows dynamic rings, wisps and jets of matter and antimatter around the pulsar in the Crab Nebula as observed in X-ray light by Chandra (left, blue) and optical light by Hubble (right, red). The movie was made from 7 still images of Chandra and Hubble observations taken between November 2000 and April 2001. To produce a movie of reasonable length the sequence was looped several times, as in looped weather satellite images. The inner ring is about one light year across.
Credits: X-ray: NASA/CXC/ASU/J.Hester et al.; Optical: NASA/HST/ASU/J.Hester et al.

It's not what the Bible doesn't say, it's what it does say.

It says God flooded the planet, killing all humans but a few. However, we have record of civilizations before, during, and after the Flood. The Bible says God created the Universe 6000 years ago, but we know (through carbon dating, among other things) that the universe was created in the Big Bang, 13.7 billion years ago. The Bible is inconsistent with the facts, and there's no evidence that supports God's existence.

I've always thought of nebulae as these almost static objects, but it turns out we have actual timelapses of them! Amazing! The video of "Cassiopeia A" is even more breathtaking.

It's because you and I are trapped in a zoo. Didn't you know that?

My guess is you have confused the jargon you partially know with understanding or knowledge. You might learn, but not with that attitude. My statement was correct your prissy remark was not.

My guess is that you don't have any advanced psych study, or you would at least use different terminology there. Magical thinking is appropriate depending on what age group you're talking about (and I would argue that a 5-year-old could conceivably written Sadin15's post :D ), and, outside of said age group, it's potentially indicative of different disorders. This said, failure in logical training might be unfortunate, but it isn't proof of mental illness.

Why does every video about space turn into a religious debate video.

Seriously, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT GOD, JUST ENJOY THE VIEW.

    I mean come on people
