Found that one on my spare hard drive was originally filmed in 1080p as a time lapse video. It was converted to 720p with compressor and speeded up 300% in Final Cut Pro, added music by The Motion Mayhem - "Toy LIke" and voila.

  • Gorgous camera. Any adaptors used and how did you keep the camera rock solid steady?

  • Thanks !

Rock solid steady on a pillow inside my car :). No adaptors at all. I think the right time of a day and dark clouds added some nice colors to that video. I wasn't very happy abut the thing visible on the bottom side of a screen... but what to do if it wasn't prepared.

  • Your welcome! I barely noticed it, rather, I didnt pay any attention to it. I have been deciding which prosumer HDV camera to buy, and I can only seem to afford (just) the Canon xh a1, which I really want more than any other. But the Panasonic HVX-200 is alot better. Better colours and gamma, and doesnt show any signs of that horrible red/green on certain objects in the picture. How do you find the P2 cards compared to tape? They are very expensive are they not?

  • Canon - no!!! Never !!! Porbably it's too late now. But if u didn't decided yet wait some time till u will be able to buy something better than that. I'm telling u my story which was: First bought Canon XM2 sold it after a year the it was Sony PD-170 sold it also and finally Panasonic HVX-200 which is the best thing u can have in that price range. P2 quite expensive but if u chase ebay u might get cheap P2 32Gb for like 400+ and if u not doing weddings in full HD :) u'll be fine with that !

  • P2 is very good ! better than tape if u can wait and get more money buy HVX200 but if not don't buy Canon U'll be disappointed As I was while using it last weekend. It's alright camera but they are much better on the market.
