  • Pardon my ignorance, but if you have to have a wire running from your existing outlet to the other one you installed then what's the point? Aren't there products that hide the wires ENTIRELY?

  • @amylchapman Thanks for your comments Amy. The kit enables you to have power behind your TV hanging on the wall using one plate, phish the wires behind the wall to the second recessed plate. Codes do not allow phishing the power cord from the TV behind the wall, and this kit allows you to plug in your TV to the recessed plate with power behind the TV. Using the supplied extension cord, you connect the bottom recessed plate to a surge protector or power source.

  • This product is not made for the European market at this time, but thank you for your interest.

  • I bought this kit. The video was very helpful. When I was tightening up the screws on the right side of the cover plate I had to use all my strength to get the screw to through the plastic holder tab. I am an electrician and used to using a screwdriver. When the gal in the video screwed the screws she just help the screwdriver with a couple of fingers ....no way...It was extremely hard. She also forgot the 2 screws on the left side of the cover plate

  • @7bigseon7 Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the screws were a bit tight on the kit that you received. That should not be the case as they are designed so they can be screwed in using a manual screwdriver. We have made note of your issue and will make sure that product development is aware of it.

  • I enjoyed the video. Nice job and nice information however that could be a code violation! check your wire gage!

if 20 amp breaker kills outlet you must use 12/2 wg(YELLOW WIRE), 14/2 WG is WHITE and will work fine if a 15 amp breaker kills outlet!

improperly sized wire violates National Electrical Code!

    whose intention is FIRE PREVENTION!

  • @ranthewireman

Please note that the product is design for residential use only so there is not a code issue. The 50-3323-WH-KIT comes with a U.L. approved 15 amp receptacle and 14/2 with ground building wire. The product is designed for use with 15 amp circuit breakers only.
