Jesus: Evidence, ancient historical sources, Part II of II

Part II examines evidence from the non-biblical sources of nineteen pagan writers that refer to Jesus Christ of the first century such as Tacitus, Suetonius, Pliny the Younger. Also doucmented by Flavius Josephus, the greatest historian of the Jews.

Part I: Evidence of the existance of Jesus Christ by Simon Greenleaf, the Royal Professor of Law at Harvard University. Dr. Greenleaf, the Royal Professor of Law at Harvard University, was one of the greatest legal minds that ever lived. He wrote the famous legal volume entitled, A Treatise on the Law of Evidence, considered by many the greatest legal volume ever written. Dr. Simon Greenleaf believed the Resurrection of Jesus Christ was a hoax. And he determined, once and for all, to expose the "myth" of the Resurrection. After thoroughly examining the evidence for the resurrection — Dr. Greenleaf came to the exact opposite conclusion! He wrote a book entitled, An Examination of the Testimony of the Four Evangelists by the Rules of Evidence Administered in the Courts of Justice. In which he emphatically stated:
"it was IMPOSSIBLE that the apostles could have persisted in affirming the truths they had narrated, had not JESUS CHRIST ACTUALLY RISEN FROM THE DEAD, . . ."

@trommnorse then there is no proof that Abraham Lincoln or Washington or any other historic person and what they did happened. They all have the same amount of credentials as witnesses. So.. you either A. believe in our lord Christ or B. believe history never happened by the logic your using.

Well, existence of Christ has been proven, there's nothing groundbraking about that, but the idea that he was "son of God" is still unprovable.

Who can help me get a list of the 19 "early pagan writers" which Dr. Kennedy is citing in his presentation here? I have gone to the original 600+ page works of Dr. Simon Greenleaf (online version) and can't seem to find them. I did confirm the spelling of: Tacitus & Suetonius (historians of Rome) and Pliny the Younger (leader of Roman Empire) and Celcius (Gr Philosopher). Can someone help - or guide me to a resource where I can find the rest of these Greco-Roman writers mentioned? Thank you!!!

I was just this evening discussing with a muslim, the historical evidence for Christ, and how Mohammad, flying in the face of such overwhelming evidence, still has his slaves believing the heresy of his denial. Thanks for posting this brief series on the secular writers who attested to His factual and historical death.
