This isn't meant to be condescending or offensive, but you probably just don't understand everything going on. I know I'm sure not grasping everything, but following the polyrythms that I do understand kept me more than entertained

@FaaGood not just you, it's really boring.

is it just me or is it really boring?

@nativemetal100 Um have you ever seen grant collins play live? He is a bloody talented man I'm sorry but you know nothing, this particular vid just may be a display of his double kick work, but the what he can do with a drum kit would astound you, i know, I'VE WITNESS IT FIRST HAND.

he came to my school today really

This is one of the worst cases of a virgil donati "wannabe" i have seen
Just another drummer with fast hads and feet "it means nothing without musicality"
Virgil on the other hand has created a signiture sound that is groundbraking, he is a pure and true virtuoso.
Im sorry but grant collins is not even close .....just a very plain drummer IMO, fast hand and feet mean nothing unless musical.

I don't think people realise this whole drum solo his foot are constantly going playing the same 64th note rhythm with accents. That is what is so phenomenal about this solo. Its a song called "Definitely not a Ballad" from his Primal Instinct Album he did back in '95 or '96. Briliant.

@TimWaterson easily the most overrated in australia...

haha Grant went to my highschool, and played for a short period in my first band..i remember him driving to school in his senior years with "Noiseworks" blaring from his car,he was always a well liked bloke
Oh yes, creating a musical polirythm with 4 way indipendence is "just beating shit, as fast as you can"
Open your ears(and maybe your mind) and than rewatch the video please.
