Just a easy bun to test my new "setting". Hope the light is better than before. I oiled my hair because I'll wash it today...so don't wonder about the greasiness ;)

The nautilus is a quick and very stable "hair out of the way" hair style and you can use a hair stick, pencil or whatever you have handy. Your hair have to be at least midback (depending on your hair thickness).

Tip for beginners: Tie your ponytail first.

Tip if your bun isn't stable enough, because your hair is thinner/shorter: Wrap the first loop over 2-3 fingers to make the bun tighter.

Tip for very long and/or super thick hair: Lift your hand with the loop away from your head after the first wrap to achieve a bigger loop.

  • WHERE did you find that hair stick? I love it!

  • @notdoinghomework I bought this stick in a local store in germany. But if you like sticks with a corkscrew shape, then you may like ketylo sticks. There are available online :)

  • u never use any heat tools on ur hair...?...i wanna ask if olive oil can prevent hairfall cz i used to have beautiful hair but i dn understand why they have fallen out sooo much the last year...:/.....cz i had used straightener only about 5 times in my life..nd i dn knw if it triggered the hairfall....

  • @mmk94100 I don't use heat tools. And I don't think the straightener causes the hair loss, is more likely a problem with your scalp. Do you heat healthy and do you drink enough? Or maybe your shampoo is to harsh, try to use a sensitive one (e.g. baby shampoo). Olive oil may help to balance your scalp if it's irritated. Best wishes! xxx

  • Great videos. Can you do more with chopsticks and pencils. How about like a figure 8 version with chopsticks? Thank you

  • @Mockingbird8923 Thanks for this suggestion! It will coming soon :)

  • Your hair looks like silk :D beautiful
