2010 Basel Fasnacht ( Carnival ).m4v

This is a sample of the sights and sounds of Fasnacht 2010 in Basel. This is known to we Americans as Basel Carnival. As I understand this, the goal is to scare away Winter. The party starts at 4 AM on Monday morning and runs for 3 days straight, ending at 4 AM on Thursday morning. We stayed at Les Trois Rois which was right in the middle of it all and was absolutely something to remember.

no he tenido la oportunidad de viajar a disfrutar de sus fiestas, me parece que son excelentes, son una muestra muy bella de su arte y su gran forma de ser que sin duda muestra esa alegría necesaria en una vida como esta llena de problemas, pero que en el marco de la fiesta todo cambia....

tuve la oportunidad de ver la representación de su carnaval en vivo en los carnavales de mi ciudad que se llevan a cabo en Pasto, Colombia, me gusto mucho, gracias a la delegación de su ciudad...Abrazos
