Leave us and our music alone!!How much more can the Goddamned russians take from us?? They better thank any god they worship that my finger is not on the button. I would push it. They killed millions of my people. They are no better than the Nazis!!My family survived because they wer armed. As am i!!I have a 1/2 group at 25 yards with the .45. Also, I am a retired combat sailor. =Stefan=

@Inshallaah Its originally a Zaporozhian (Ukrainian) Cossack song. But the song spread to the Russianized Don and Kuban Cossacks, and so therefore became a popular cossack song (and therefore RUssian song) in addition to being ukrainian. I hope this helps, mij brat. :)

As an American of Ukrainian heritage-my mom lived there 1914-1924- and lost many relatives in the wars.
I love the music. It speaks to me even though I can't understand it.

If you have any other suggestions just tell me... 4 example on the sentence Raspyahajtie Chpocy Koni... what does it mean? What does Marusia mean? If it's Ukrainian, is it sung by the Red Army Choir? Thank's man!
