For those of you in America that don't use this type of 240v plug he is trying to trigger the safety release on the ground pin in order to install the wall wart which has internal grounding or in China's case no grounding. Ground fault protection even between the neutral and ground is quite sufficient and shock is rare on this type of plug. But damn does it hurt when you do!!

I've done that with 2-pin european plugs in British sockets, infact, it's the only way I can charge my PDA as the shaver adaptors are too loose to safely hold it in place!!! But I didn't leave the screwdriver in the Earth socket... :P
