The really "Girl from Ipanema" is Helô Pinheiro, not Astrud Gilberto.

Astrud Gilberto wasn't "The Girl from Ipanema." When Antonio Carlos Jobim wrote the song, he was doing so about a pretty woman that he used to see in his Ipanema neighborhood in Rio de Janiero. Astrud is from the Bahia region of Brazil, and was married to Joao Gilberto, the Father of Bossa Nova.
