My somehow famous hockey open (pre-mutilated by G4's "Attack of the Show") w/ Polar Bear from Fairbanks, Alaska for the UAF Nanooks AKA "The Alaska Nanooks". This is the intended directors cut with the original music choice that was struck down for being "too 80's" (as if there is such a thing). The version that ended up beginning each game featured "Doctor Feelgood" by Motley Crue instead. Visual effects by Mike Martinez with help from Chris LeDoux (on the moon explosion). Narrated by Brad F. Douglas. Written, Produced, and Directed by Mike Martinez.

I was SO not expecting that to be SOoooo funny. I was placidly watching, while my roommatesleeps, and BAM! POLAR BEAR BLASTS OFF! I started laughing soooo hard.
At first I thought, "not enough flying debris not enough explosions Then I realized. This is a high-end production. This is about class, subtlety, and realism. It's about pushing 3-D graphics to new, unprecedented heights.
I saw my true self in this video, and I realized Im a fraud. A pretender. We have all been beaten. Shamed. I watched it again. Then I wept.
