HλLF-LIFE 2: NPC's Drive Cars

The fate of the VRE Valve Racing Experience mod is now unknown. This probably is the closest thing left to it, other then GMod racer, but thats a multiplayer game mode.

Let this be the proof left that a Source mod was capable of NPC drivers.

Note: everything is based in the map file, the concept of the VRE may not in the end have used BMWs.

OMG how did you manage to get npc's to drive cars?

@midgerm Sadly, I didn't do anything. The map maker somehow saved BMW's and the rest of the HL2 gang driving the cars all in the same BSP map file! I think it may be some advanced map editing, but every time you play this map, they do not drive in some specific path, they go the same direction, but their actions will not be the same. I looked, and the map still is on the garrysmod website, can't remember the name, but you will know when you see it.

can you please tell me how you got the NPC's to drive the cars??

i really want to make a grand-theft auto type game mode or map, but i can't cause i haven't figured out how to get npc vehicles, or npc controlled vehicles...
