haha yes u did fool why is the camera positioned to the left of trent at 1:11 and then to the left of mona at 1:15? To keep the 180 rule these back to back shots shouldn't cross the imaginary line formed by the two actors gazes. To follow the rule correctly, the second shot should be over the right shoulder of mona. I don't have to be in film school to know that.

"Rules" is a stupid concept. If a great director never breaks the "rules" I guess Speilburg and Ford need to be dropped from the ranks. Good grief, check out Welles -- there isn't a single "rule" that genius didn't break BECAUSE THE SHOT NEEDED IT. A blind adherence to the "rules" is the best example of "a hobgolin of little minds."
