I'm not sure of the runways actual length but I believe the part beyond the parking area is 1600ft long. This is a fun strip as it has trees all around it. This runway is at a float plane maintenance base just a mile north of CYCN. Not all pilots are able to land here. Some have to land at CYCN and the AME has to go to the airport or actually fly the airplane to the strip themselves if the owner approves of it.

  • Bet it's hard keeping a plane clean there :-)

  • This runway is horrible in the spring.. you don't even need brakes to stop it's just mud.

  • Nice! No room for error landing there.

  • I've had a few go arounds at this place..

  • As usual, smooth and controled! Nice landing mate! Cheers! Hugh

  • Thanks for the video. CYCN is just at the edge of Google maps, can't get a detailed satellite image of the area, just blur. But that is true for most of the places you fly. Poulation: 10?

  • What is the approx length of a runway? It's always a pleasure to watch your videos!!

    well done :)

  • great use of the six...I like flying into the smaller strips with that plane
