@TomazHilton there is a hell of a lot of cross over between companies in the auto industry. chasis are designed by one, motors are bought from another company, trannies from another. my whole point is that patriotism by the car you drive is not incredibly true anymore. the companies are so intertwined; manufacturing is so spread out that it just doesn't matter that much anymore

@TomazHilton the point of saying that its an american car is making the claim that its manufacturing is giving jobs to americans and helping the american economy more than would, say, a bmw, vw or toyota. that is not the case though, in fact, the new Jettas are being produced in kentucky. that being so, you'd be supplying more jobs to americans if you bought a jetta and not a 300. also they are about 4-5 hours apart in different countries.

@OBAMASTINKSLIKEANAPE I'm lost because everyone knows the platform came from the 1990's Eclass which is a fullsize car platform, not used for anything smaller, the fact Chrysler rengineered, so they the only carried oved parts are the suspension and tranny. And sell it for almost 30K less than Eclass and have the performance to hang with it is great. Its the only AMERICAN MAINSTREEM car to be exported to europe under I different brand.

Who cares if the 300s are built in Canada, their still AMERICAN (north american) and shit ain't the plant like few miles Detroit?

And sadly the 200 and Avenger is the Most american car made today consisting of parts from the US. And been developed by American....and as I recall most of their crossovers/suvs are based on the tauraus which is from VOLVO..

Next Dodge Compact will be based on a Alfa Romeo (designed and engineerd for America by American) and we all know the Alfas, ESPECIALLY the gulietta is the most fun to drive FWD compact in ANY trim...
