aww, sorry to hear that your girlfriend at 14, it sounds really bitchy. I also have gotten used to walking around while tightening abs, and putting my shoulder back, and now I have a nice posture naturally. The worst thing I see is people who look like their backs are hunched and made rubber - they might maybe have more back problems later? anyway, great videos! really informative.
I learned that trick when I was younger and my abs have always been as flat as a board however something happened when I turned 27. I think i got lazy and just stopped doing it. I still have a nice shape but I am definately notice'n the beginings of a gut and I'm trying to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand. Thanks for the reminder.
what do you mean? does this help me with anything? if that's our question, then yes. my gut doesn't hang out. you can instantly look 10 to sometimes 20 pounds lighter just by correcting your posture and keeping your abdominals contracted inward all day long. it will take getting used to. but how it worked for me was, to just remind yourself to keep your gut sucked in, comfortably, whenever you felt that it was relaxing too much. you don't have to suck in all the way. that would be uncomfortable
. but you ca train your abdominals to stay in like that and over a period of time, it will be normal. letting it all out will just feel weird. and you'll look so much better. don't you ever look in the mirror and hold your guy in and say, "gee i wish my abs were really like this."? lol well they can be.
