DEMO -- 'Where will you stand?'

BDH Animation Treatment
These trails are set in a bleak futuristic world rendered in black, white and red. 'Renaissance' meets 'Sin City' style.

The story is told in an atmospheric and ambiguous way, intriguing the viewer into finding more about DEMO.

We created a central narrative sequence (seen above), with variations to allow multiple cuts to be made of the same sequence.

The Storyline
Disaffected youths hang around litter-strewn streets in the outer city zone. They are kept out of the metropolis by high walls.

Within the perimeter wall, the state owned broadcaster pumps out the same old bland recycled pop from telecom tower, feeding huge billboards all over the city.

In the outer zone a mysterious figure appears from the shadows and releases a red bug from a matchbox. The bug multiplies rapidly and bugs pour through a hole in the wall covering the entire city in red.

The telecom tower explodes, causing the electrical supply to fail and the billboards to flicker and fail.

Logo resolve: the antennae of the bug plugs into the DEMO logo

Coda: The hooded figure dissolves back into the darkness.
