Ok I do understand the worry and panic over the idea of such a system, but for the sake of discussion I am going to side against my personal view on this topic and ask the one question that will get this post deleted... Why is being cataloged and having this type of system put into place such a bad thing, No paper money = less reason to get mugged, the GPS feature of Onstar has made auto recovery a true option when they get stolen, and these are bad things? When does benefit outweigh fear?

@realmadridkm It doesnt need batteries, it is similar to the chipped keys that most vehicles have now. The chips are read by the device (which is powered) by way of radio frequencies.In a Chrysler vehicles case, the device is called a wireless control module.

If I remember right, it was Bush Jr. who had said something along the lines of "The truth bears repeating until it become believable."
