Blackened

Consumed by the dark
Makes me feel so complete
Gives me full attention
Makes me no longer feel weak

It's so easy to succumb
To living a life of glum
Safe and so secure
The love of escaping
Something that was fake
And non existent

The pain grows to pleasure
This heart hides inside
The eyes of abysmal viscera
Hidden by the enigma
That has fed into this system's
Personal woes of dormant
Staying inside this emptiness

And feeling weary
Wearing a black aura
Filled with smoking mirrors
Of hidden faith
That shall no longer be exposed

I am done
Dead man walking
No longer giving into temptation
Of the games this world plays
Buried deep inside my heart

Goodbye world
Hello dread
