The interesting thing about Russia, and this is from talking to people from Russia online, is that their education standards are really high. If their political setup wasn't so corrupt, they would be far ahead of pretty much any country. I think they pretty much have more people in/graduated from university than the rest of Europe combined. I'll look this up later, but I'd encourage everyone else to look this up too, because Russia is a highly educated country.
