Boogie-woogie is a style of piano-based blues that became very popular in the late 1930s and early 1940s, but originated much earlier and was extended from piano, to three pianos at once, guitar, big band, country and western music and gospel. This was written by the Delmore Brothers and recorded in Feb. 1946. Red Foley recorded with The Delmore Brothers in September 1946, and oct. 1947 as part of the Browns Ferry Four. This record is his cover of the Delmores one, even down to the harmonica !
