March 1999
For months whilst the world focussed its attention on the conflict in Kosovo, Ethiopia and Eritrea fought a bloody war over a few thousand kilometres of scrubland. This wasn't a conflict of precision bombing and 'zero deaths', but of a trench warfare and human waves mown down by gunfire. tens of thousands have died. But these two countries share many ties of friendship ad heritage. This film shows how these ties have only increased hatred. Former comrades in arms now face each other across the fornt-line, and all feel betrayed. There have been mass deportations of eritreans from Ethiopia - we meet one man who has had to leave behind his Ethiopian wife and family to come back to a country he does not know.

  • Neger,,, Africans did NOT maasacre 70 million of their own people in just 6 years of WWII, just like your masters in Europe.

At least Africans would rather face their own demons, than seek reffuggee, to clean up white man's bathrooms in Sweden, just like you.

WHILE YOU BLEED YOUR HEART, SEE HOW ERITREANS MAKE MIRACLES.

"By logic, the Nation of Eritrea should not exist. The independence fighters were outmanned, outgunned, abandoned or betrayed by every ally, ought never to have defeated Ethiopia in their 30 yrs long struggle. Their cause was hopeless. They won by force of character, a unity and determination so steely not all the modern armaments, super power support or economic superiority of Ethiopia could withstand it".

    TIME

  • otherwise, we'll be back on square one again when they get a window to breath.

  • its now 2011, more than a decade since war and almost 25% of eritrea still under Ethiopia. where is all the swearing of dictator isayas that leaving badme, therona, and bure means the sun will not rise again. these gullible lowlife people called eritrea are the reason for all the wars in the horn, with yemen, sudan, Ethiopia and Djibouti. it's time that all these countries work together to eliminate these dorks from the face of Africa and dismantle that fake country called eritrea.

  • @elementoxygen

You are wrong to say,,,, "ህዝቢ ዓሻ "::

Ethiopia has been waging 50 yrs of war against Eritreans.

Therefore, the fact is Eritreans are FORCED to wage to liberate & defend their families, while Ethiopians are waging endless wars to destroy Eritrea & Eritreans.

Therefore, you are wrong to blame Eritreans for defending their families.

WHY DON"T YOU JUST TELL IT LIKE IT IS????

  • The death of Greater Tigray manifesto

    w w w.EthiopianReview. com

    December 9th, 2010

The Greater Tigray agenda suffered a setback when Woyanne went to war with Eritrea in 1998. Woyanne had to scramble and get Ethiopians to support the war by trying to falsely present itself as an Ethiopian nationalist group.

The Woyanne's war with Eritrea caused split inside the organization's top leadership putting the final nail on the coffin of Greater Tigray manifesto.
