Greece Athene part 1 1991

Summer vacation in Greece
We did not reserve anything before arriving to the airport in Athene. At the airport in early morning before 6:00a.m., I called several hotels and I managed to find a hotel for 2 nights only. It was Grand Caravel Hotel in Athene. (now Divani Caravel Hotel) Totally free to do anything as far as my budget allowed us. No wake-up call, we woke up when we wanted and decided what to do as we were taking breakfast.
We booked a night sight seeing tour at hotel concierge. We enjoyed show and dinner and walked through Athene. It was fun. Later we had to find another hotel and moved for a couple of days more stay in Athene.
