Hello returning and new students! Hope you're having a great start to your term! Already feeling tired? Want to do something exciting and different? Take a break from Grey's, Netter's, Bates, and Robbins for a bit!

We will be having our first general meeting THURSDAY, January 19, 2011 from 5:30-7pm at Bourne Hall!

Joining AMSA is a great way to becoming involved with community service in Grenada. Not only do you get to lend a helping hand, but the organization also provides you with the means to network with all types of health care professional in the United States.

Topics/sign-ups during the meeting include:

Health Fairs (MUST be a national member and attend 1 TRAINING)
Class Representatives (This is a MUST at this meeting)
Blood Drives
Action Committees (sign-ups)
Valentine's Day Auction
AMSA National Convention in March for interested students

Membership information:

Becoming a AMSA national member makes you a SGU-AMSA member. Please visit the site to learn about benefits and discounts. Please bring your member ID to the meeting or email us the info at amsa.sgu@gmail.com.

We will also be serving FREE PIZZA and SOFT DRINKS! As a medical student in GND, this deal is just too hard to pass up! Apologies to the lactose intolerant and anti-soda advocates.

Sincerely,

the AMSA E-BOARD
