Religious leaders need to live too. If they don't ask for donations then we wouldn't have Churches to go to.. A community of worship. Etc..

If you read your bible, you will get your answer. How do you think the church doors stay open and the church is cared for, through the members looks. We suppose to take care of the church like God takes care of us. Read your bible. You not suppose to go off what you hear and what you think, but it's about what you know and that's God word

Fyi My husband and I have been on staff at 2 different churches for th last 5 years and we have NEVER flown first class, and we scrimp and save to give more to the church as well. Not all churches are the same.

Why is it that religious leaders are always asking for money?
Tithe or your prayers won't be answered!
It is a bit critical to expect the flock to scrimp and save so church leaders can fly first class.

They claim to know God, yet in that day He will say to them, "I never knew you." May God open our eyes so that we no longer walk in deception and under the yoke of false teachers and doctrines that ensnare and keep people in bondage to a system that is not designed by the Lord. To Him be the glory, and power, and might, for ever and ever, Amen.

I am fear the post-modern church is headed for ruin and a form of christianity that the Apostles of our Lord would not recognize or approve of. The Lord is awakening many who hear the Spirit speaking to the hearts of His children. He is stirring a desire in many to take hold of the pure gospel of Christ and to come against the robbers of God's people.

By agreeing with and supporting the position of tithing for new testament believers, they embolden those leaders who teach this false doctrine to continue to use and manipulate their members. Why are the best seats, and the places of honor reserved for the wealthy and the accomplished in this world? Why does the church entertain those who have their own selfish ambitions in mind and not the things that God cares about?

There is a huge contrast to Biblical leadership and present practices in most evangelical/protestant congregations. My anger is with the men who claim to be God's voice for the masses, yet they enrich themselves and feed of the sheep, living in exsess and luxury, while some of their members suffer and are in lack and need for the basic necessities. I have witnessed this in several churches. So are all the success teachers and ministries.
