  • a high bph does not just make a watch fast, it makes the seconds hand sweep in a smoother manner.

  • @helloimjosepe

Well of course, the hand moves "smoother" because there's less time between each oscillation. Also, i never said a high bhp makes a watch fast, a high beat rate is a fast beat rate, they have the same meaning, one doesn't cause the other.

  • just regulated by machine my le locle, first it reg.about-4 sec./day..re-regulated now looks to be plus 2-3 sec/day.about spot on for an auto.the eta 2824-2 movement looks pretty special.same guy reg.a seiko 7s26 for me with very similar results 3-6 sec/min.fun stuff for compulsive types,ha ha

  • also very cool

  • My russian watch only has a 19,800 bph rate, so my second hand, while smoother than a quartz, does visibly "tick" slightly.
