Ok, thanks. I currently meet half the criteria you said, (too poor) so I'll probably get them eventually.

I actually do have a real drum set and I haven't been playing as much Rock Band now. I paid $630 for a used one and it just feels a lot better to be striking a real cymbal than a pad.

The bassist on the screen has no clue how to play this song.
l0l, phail
By the way, would you recommend the IONs? Thinking about getting them when they come out for Wii, cause the stock stuff is a ton of horse balls.

Well, if you can afford it and if you play Rock Band enough, I think it's a worthwhile investment. I personally don't regret the $450 (Canadian dollars) I spent on them.

i cant wait to get my set, i heard theyre really worth it and im gonna be getting the electronic drumset add on thingy, ive been playing real drums for about 2 years and i want these so it can be a lot more quiet then my acoustic set, plus i like playing rock band and my drums broke :P

I'm planning on getting an actual drum kit quite soon. If you're playing Rock Band almost every day, I find that the Ion kit is a successful investment considering how much fun you have with it compared with the relatively high price. I sure don't regret making the purchase.
