Episode 1 Synopsis

The Rookie drops onto New Jerusalem. He finds lone ODST, Gage Yevgenny dying near a Pelican crash site. Refusing to be rescued, Gage begins to tell the young Rookie about how he got here and to not make the same mistakes he did.

Series Description

Halo: Helljumper is an unofficial web series (made by fans) based on Microsoft's acclaimed video game franchise, Halo. Adapted from the short story, "Dirt," By Tobias S. Buckell, it tells the story of a few human ODSTs as they fight through 27 years of brutal war with the Covenant. They evolve from a rag tag group of recruits in the UNSC to being cold battle hardened veterans that are shadows of their former selves.

Our first season is based off the short story, "Dirt," written for the official universe. In the story, Gage joins the CMA, then leaves the planet joins the ODST. I'm personally a big Halo fan, and wanted to get things as accurate as possible.

PS. Sgt. Johnson was also on Harvest when the Covenant first invaded and escaped.

Some constructive criticism from a fellow film maker...

1 Get some mics, the actors should be laved up and use a few shotguns. You can get everything you need for under $500 if you shop smart

2 Don't use so many rack focus shots. A rack focus for the sake of doing it with no bearing on the story or emotion throws the viewer out.

3 be careful what kinds of material is used in the costumes. I saw a lot of color issues due to the reflection of the material.

4 Do a little more research on ...
