This choreography showcases their versatility as dancers. They do not limit themselves to only the ballroom style. In fact, here they bring in a lot of jazz moves carefully woven into the ballroom routine. Bravo!

i can't hear it anymore when some brazilian people think this isn't samba.
common guys, wake up. there are more different styles of samba, than just shaking your ass like in the brazilian dance. -.-

Eles dançam muito bem. Mas, não se deve comparar essa dança com o samba brasileiro. Primeiramente é preciso colocar uma música que seja samba de verdade, depois eles precisam de ter mais aquele geitinho brasileiro, aquele molejo e também precisam mudar o figurino. Isso está mais pra tango internacional.

This is international samba, which has its roots in the original brazilian samba. However, the competitive enviroment and decades of development this dance style has become very much different.

No, Carmen is from germany and Bryan Watson is from south-africa, and he now lives in germany if i am right. And he studies german.
