This is 100% fact. North Texas is pretty much the most competitive area for any sort of music program. From Large 5A bands to individual All-Region auditions, it is incredibly difficult. So many good players! :S

@guyco101 Maybe so my friend, but I guess it's just the way I was brought up into it. I could've been in the worst high school band and still take pride in who we are and what we do ,competitive or not.

Crossmen, Forte, Genesis, and Revolution are all from Texas actually.
Plus almost every Corps has at least one audition camp in North Texas because it holds some of the most competitive players and marchers in the nation. So if your comment was made to bash Texas marching, try again.
