Yaacov has participated in many international films and performed in Hebrew and Yiddish shows in Israel and all over the world. With this recording he presents his seventh album of songs.
Yaacov believes that Yiddish songs have a special flavour and unique rhythm incorporating both joy and sadness that reflect the emotions and situations of the Jewish people from all over the world and all walks of life.
He is very happy to sing these songs for all the nations where Yiddish developed and where this language is still spoken and cherished.
