Nice job! Some people seem to criticize the way this was done? When you`re in the woods, whatever is in your truck is what you use, there`s no deer intervention team that comes in to save the day. In life things don`t magically get solved like on CSI, sometimes you have to put an ax to it!

they saved the deer from being trapped in the antlers!! imagine the power of that young buck pulling with all that strength! lucky it wasnt any bigger hahah! good job guys!!!

they should have put a coat over the deers head so it would have calmmed down and let them remove the antler cause the deer sadly probably died from a heart attack later on because whitetail are pretty highstrung as it is and this ocurrance would not help matters much

I think they got stuck together during a fight and the weakest of the 2 died as it happends most of the time and he got eaten by coyotes. They could have use a tranquiliser for the deer to help free him.

Well the dead deer was already dead in a felid, and the other on got caught in its horns...SO some people i know released it. Pretty simple. I am assuming the one that is dead got hit by a car seeing as it was in a felid not far from the road before the other deer got caught up....Thats all i know :)
