How do you make it bounce off the paddles?

i have everything except that. im bout to rage. lol

@satsumajeff8 When the ball hits a paddle it's direction is reversed, so the x velocity would be multiplied by -1 or something.

I seem to do the same thing, when I introduce a big change that I think wont work (but later does) I branch it off as main main2 main3 etc.
